You at 4 Months

So, I've been DYING to get my hands on the Echo Park, Little Boy line. Just my style. Fun, bright colors. I love EP. Love them. They pretty much can't go wrong in my book. :)

So, Monday, it was a holiday, and I used it as an excuse to go to my local scrapbooking store that I love (in UT, there is pretty much one on every corner) without children. Talk about bliss. :) Grabbed some EP, and was on my way. I just got around to using it. Here's what I came up with:

I kind of used the idea for this one from a previous layout I did of my daughter a few years ago with her 8 month photo. Here's that layout:

I can't wait to do another layout with these papers. They are so fun. Maybe I should have bought more.....

So Happy to have YOU

Happy Sunday Scrappers!

I've had a good weekend so far. But, something was missing. My Sunday afternoon nap. Well, it just wasn't meant to be. My oldest kicked me out of my own bed because she wanted to nap with Daddy, and I just couldn't fall asleep downstairs in the basement...too cold. So, I decided to scrap instead.

This photo is of my daughter, who was almost 3 in this picture. You should be able to read the journaling (if you can read my writing) in the last picture.

Most of the stuff
here is from the Echo Park, Life is Good line. Hope all of you got some scrapping in over the weekend too!

To Read, Is to Dream

This layout was so fun. My daughter was 3 in this picture. She had received a big stack of books from her Grandpa. Her Grandma (my mother in law) had just passed away 2 months earlier, and he discovered all these children's books she had been saving for when her grandkids came to visit. He knew my daughter was obsessed with books, even though she can't even read yet. So, when we opened the package, she immediately grabbed one and started "reading". This was the picture I snapped.

Check back later this week for my very first giveaway!!
